Jake Peacock Secures Dominant TKO Victory at ONE 171

Jake Peacock entered the ring against Shinji Suzuki at ONE 171. Ahead of the fight, he knew that he performs at his best when the lights are the brightest, and that’s what he planned to do.

The Canadian-British sensation will returned for his sophomore appearance in the world’s largest martial arts organization as he took on the Japanese in a bantamweight Muay Thai scrap. As the opening bell rang, it was clear that Peacock was a step ahead.

Peacock dominated the opening two rounds, utilizing his kicks and one punch effectively. He kept moving forward controlling the fight. Moreover, he knocked Suzuki down in the second round. In the third round, Suzuki looked like he had taken enough in the final round so Peacock saw his opportunity to finish the fight.

As Peacock landed a flurry of combinations, the referee waved the fight off as Suzuki went down 3 times in the round. That said, it is safe to say that Peacock made his mark at ONE 171 and it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for him.
