Will Tyson Fury fight Anthony Joshua

A potential bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua remains a topic of significant interest in the boxing world. While both fighters have expressed interest in facing each other, several factors currently make the fight unlikely in the immediate future.

Tyson Fury announced his retirement from boxing in January 2025 after consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. Despite this, there have been hints that he might consider a comeback. Anthony Joshua is currently recovering from elbow surgery following a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024. He has announced plans to return to the ring in December 2025, which effectively rules out a fight with Fury this year. Joshua has expressed a desire to face Fury, stating that the bout “has to happen” in 2025, but acknowledges that time is limited.
