“Make No Mistake”- Mams Taylor Debunks Theory of Andrew Tate Replacing KSI as Misfits Boxing CEO

Last December, Andrew Tate shocked the combat sports world by joining Misfits Boxing as its new CEO. According to Tate, his appointment represented a takeover aimed at removing KSI from his position and working alongside Mams Taylor to transform Misfits Boxing into a global brand.

Following his appointment, Tate announced his boxing return against Chase DeMoor, setting up a heavyweight clash that attracted considerable attention. The fight generated enormous hype, with Tate making several bold promises about his performance and ambitions before stepping inside the boxing ring.

However, things did not go according to plan, as Tate ultimately suffered defeat against DeMoor via unanimous decision. Following the disappointing result, fans expected Tate to pursue a rematch against DeMoor, hoping to settle their rivalry.

However, that anticipated rematch never materialized, and Tate is currently detained at the Federal Detention Center in Miami, Florida. In a recent interview, Mams Taylor was asked about the previous arrangements and the president shared his opinion.

“Make no mistake, KSI is the CEO. He’s the active CEO. Of course, I put storylines; sometimes they go the way I want, sometimes they don’t,” said Mams Taylor via Gunman Boxing.

Andrew Tate was  arrested on July 18, 2026, by U.S. Marshals following Britain’s extradition request. British prosecutors seek his extradition to face allegations including rape, assault, and facilitating human trafficking for sexual exploitation.

Tate denies wrongdoing, and a US judge denied his request for release on bail in September 2026. On the other hand, KSI returned as the CEO of Misfits Boxing on October 10th.

On top of that, KSI has officially announced his retirement from boxing, bringing an end to his career. KSI was one of the biggest names that helped establish influencer boxing as a major attraction.

The Misfits Boxing co-founder announced the Essex vs. Dapper event in London. However, he also confirmed that he would continue working with the promotion in an executive capacity.
