Sonrak Seeks Revenge And A Stylist Defends His Record As The Inner Circle Returns On March 27

The Inner Circle returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok this Friday, March 27, streaming exclusively live at live.onefc.com for members — and the card is built around a rematch that has been four years in the making.

Topping the bill in bantamweight Muay Thai is the reunion of Myanmar’s Sonrak Fairtex and Thailand’s Dedduanglek Torfunfarm, two fighters whose careers have been intertwined since they met in the 2022 Road To ONE: Thailand Final, where Dedduanglek claimed the championship and the six-figure contract that came with it.

Since that defeat, Sonrak has become one of the most dangerous finishers at this level. The 29-year-old southpaw from the Thailand-Myanmar border is a pressure fighter who overwhelms opponents with his left straight, overhand right, and sharp elbows in close quarters. He arrives on a two-fight knockout streak, having put away both Buakhiao Por Paoin and Yamin PK Saenchai inside the distance, and carries a 71-24 record into this bout. He is not the same fighter Dedduanglek defeated in 2022.

Neither, however, is Dedduanglek. The 23-year-old out of TDed99 in Bangkok has developed into one of the most composed and technically precise fighters on the circuit. His left body kick is a fight-altering weapon, and his footwork and ring generalship allow him to control distance and dictate terms in ways that make hard-pressing opponents look one-dimensional. He won the contract. He has kept proving he deserves it.

In the co-main event, WMC World Champion Lamnamoonlek Torfunfarm puts his three-fight winning streak on the line against China’s Yuan Pengjie in a flyweight kickboxing clash that pits one of the sport’s great stylists against an explosive southpaw with a 38-4 record and the tools to disrupt any rhythm.

Lamnamoonlek is a 27-year-old craftsman with a 106-30 career record who operates at a frequency most opponents cannot tune into. His timing is almost telepathic, his left body kick ruthlessly placed, and his ability to let opponents beat themselves while staying almost untouched is a masterclass every time he performs it. Yuan’s bouncy, momentum-driven combinations present a different kind of puzzle, one that could turn ugly quickly if the Chinese southpaw is allowed to build momentum.

Rounding out the card, Khundet PK Saenchai faces Anuar Cisneros in flyweight Muay Thai, Adham Ruziev meets Shoma Okumura in strawweight kickboxing, and Quoc Danh takes on Kotaro Tanaka in a flyweight MMA bout.
