The Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury rematch is considered to be one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing. Both heavyweight greats are reportedly set to rake in major payouts for the same.
Their first fight went down in May this year. It was an undisputed heavyweight title match with the big four belts -WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF -on the line. Ukraine’s Usyk possessed the WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, IBO, and Ring Magazine heavyweight titles.
Meanwhile, England’s Fury had the WBC heavyweight title. Usyk won the fight via split decision and became the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 purses
As reported by The Independent, the total fight purse for their first match was around $150 million (aka £116 million). The fight agreement reportedly required Fury to donate £1 million from his purse to Ukraine amid its ongoing war with Russia.
Fury was expected to bag a 70 percent split from the purse, which is around $105 million. Top Rank’s Bob Arum, who serves as the U.S. promoter for the Englishman, indicated that the towering heavyweight was likely to earn a lot more than $100 million for that matchup in total.
Oleksandr Usyk’s estimated payout was 30 percent of the $150 million total fight purse, which was approximately $45 million.
As far as the rematch is concerned, The Independent recently reported that the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury rematch is expected to earn the two fighters a total payout of approximately $191 million (£150 million).
It is worth noting that the purse split remains unclear, but since Usyk won their previous encounter, the belief is that he’ll bag a much higher percentage than he did the first time around.
