UFC 319 Payouts: How Much Did Chimaev and Du Plessis Earn?

UFC 319 was one of the most talked-about events of the year, especially with Khamzat Chimaev taking on Dricus du Plessis in the main event. While Chimaev won the fight by unanimous decision, both fighters walked away with massive paydays.

Du Plessis Takes Home More Despite Loss

Even though he lost his middleweight title, Dricus du Plessis earned more money than Chimaev. His estimated payout was around $3 million. This included a $1 million base purse and additional income from pay-per-view shares and promotional bonuses.

Had he won, Du Plessis would have also collected a $500,000 win bonus, but that was off the table following his defeat.
