Fans have been left with disappointment after it was revealed that Dan Hooker will no longer fight against Justin Gaethje at UFC 313. He was scheduled to fight Gaethje on March 8th in T-Mobile Arena at Paradise, Nevada. The cancellation was confirmed by MMA reporter Benny P on X.
According to a video posted by Dan Hooker himself, he claimed that he broke his hand. The severity of the injury is not know currently and in the video posted by “The Hangman,” he said “We did have a little break, we have been busy.” Hooker explained as he was sitting with his daughter “Dad had a fight, or was supposed to have a fight, but I’ve busted my paw.”
The bout would’ve served as a co-main event but it remains uncertain if anyone will replace Hooker or if the fight will be rebooked for a card later in the year.
