Conor McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest name in the UFC. However, he has been out of action since 2021 after suffering a broken foot in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.
Interestingly, he was scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303, however, the fight was canceled. While people have been waiting to return to action in the octagon, it looks like McGregor might pursuing something nobody saw coming.
Conor McGregor reveals talks for a boxing bout with Logan Paul
Conor McGregor has recently said he intends to delay his return to MMA. He has agreed to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. While there were rumors of him potentially fighting Ilia Topuria, he has shrugged off those rumors.
He took to X and suggested:
“The rumors of a bout with [Ilia Topuria] are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
Logan Paul who is also a YouTuber, has appeared in four boxing fights, including a draw and a defeat to KSI, a draw with Floyd Mayweather and a win against MMA fighter Dillon Danis that came last year.

However, Paul has become more known for his time in WWE, where he won the U.S. Championship in November 2023. McGregor has appeared in a professional boxing bout only once. A 2017 fight against Floyd Mayweather, which ended in a 10th-round TKO defeat.
That said, it remains to be seen if the fight actually gets made or if the bout gets canceled in the preliminary agreements itself.
