“He’s Small”- Jake Paul Confidently Claims He Would Beat Ilia Topuria in a Boxing Match

Jake Paul vs. Ilia Topuria

Jake Paul recently faced former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in a highly anticipated boxing bout that drew massive global attention. The fight ended brutally when Paul was knocked out in the sixth round after a devastating strike from Joshua himself.

Following the defeat, Paul has shifted focus toward new opponents, including UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria in a boxing match. The ‘El Matador’ is one of the biggest names in UFC and is known for being one of best boxers in the roster.

During a recent livestream with Adin Ross, Jake’s brother Logan Paul discussed his confidence openly regarding potential boxing success ahead. Logan claimed Jake possesses power and size advantages capable of troubling Topuria in a hypothetical boxing contest someday seriously possibly.

He’s(Ilia) small bro. I think he(Jake) could. We just seen the MMA fighter vs. Boxer,” said Logan Paul via Adin Ross stream.

Jake Paul stands 6’ 1” and usually weighs around 205 lbs on fight night and has the Knockout power to stop shorter opponents. Topuria, on the other hand, is 5′ 7” and typically enters fight night weighing roughly 170 lbs but his ability to finish opponents is way superior.

The fighter is definitely quicker than Paul and it could be an intriguing match-up. However, given the history between Paul and Dana White it won’t be surprising to see UFC ignore this crossover boxing opportunity.

Jake Paul shares updates about his injury

The nasty knockout reportedly broke Jake Paul’s jaw in two places, forcing hospitalization and ending his hopes that night. Despite the loss, Paul still earned a shocking $92 million, unprecedented payday in modern influencer boxing. In a recent interview, the fighter gave updates about his injury and recovery process.

I’ve got four plates in my jaw and the healing process has been tough. I’m a little bit tired, it’s hard to sleep. It’s all part of the sport and it was an amazing night. I learned a lot and we’re moving on to more fights this year,” said Jake Paul.

Many experts have advised Paul to step away from boxing after such a serious injury, but no official updates have emerged. It remains interesting to see what happens next, as Paul has undeniably established himself as a major name.
