The MVP fight card is currently directly being compared to the upcoming White House event, which will take place on 14 June. In the main event, Ilia Topuria will take on Justin Gaethje for a lightweight championship battle.

The co-main event features an interim heavyweight title bout between Brazilian superstar Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane. Other big stars include Sean O’Malley, Michael Chandler, Bo Nickal, etc.

However, the card has definitely attracted severe criticism from fans who felt underwhelmed by the fights. Many mentioned that it lacks the star power, given the hype around the event that UFC has built for months.

Is Jake Paul a threat to Dana White’s UFC?

On top of all the excitement, most of the fighters participating in Jake Paul’s MVP card have had some beef with the UFC. Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano had been very vocal about cutting ties with the UFC and being a part of the fighters’ first promotion.

Similarly, the beef between Francis Ngannou and Dana White is one of the most infamous in recent times, following the heavyweight’s UFC exit. White mocked Ngannou’s personality, and in response, the Cameroonian-French exposed UFC’s unfair fighter treatment.

Paul himself is a huge critic of Dana White and his way of dealing with fighters and his policies. The MVP Netflix card has certainly resulted in severe buzz in the combat sports community, and fans are excited about it.
