KSI Admits He Stayed Too Long in Boxing After Logan Paul Win

For a while, KSI wasn’t just part of influencer boxing, he was leading it. The fights were big, the build-ups were loud, and the numbers spoke for themselves. But now, looking back at it all, he feels the story could have ended much earlier.

KSI recently said he spent too much time in boxing and believes he should have stopped right after beating Logan Paul. It’s an honest take, especially considering how important that win was at the time.

His boxing journey began in 2018 when he fought Joe Weller and won by TKO. That fight set everything in motion. Later that year, he stepped into the ring with Logan Paul for the first time in an amateur bout, which ended in a draw. The rematch in 2019 was where things really peaked. Fighting as professionals, KSI won by split decision, closing one of the biggest rivalries the internet had seen.

What happened after the Logan Paul fight

That moment could have been the perfect ending. He had proven his point, settled the rivalry, and reached the top of the influencer boxing scene. But he didn’t stop there.

After taking some time away, KSI returned to the ring in 2022. He fought twice in one night and picked up wins against Swarmz and Luis Pineda. Not long after, he knocked out FaZe Temperrr, showing he was still improving. He then faced Joe Fournier in 2023, a fight that ended in controversy when his knockout win was later overturned due to an illegal elbow.

Later that year came his toughest test against Tommy Fury. KSI lost the fight by decision, marking his first official defeat as a professional boxer. It was a moment that seemed to shift his perspective on boxing altogether.

Looking back now, it’s clear why he feels the way he does. The Logan Paul win had everything — hype, stakes, and a clear ending to the story. Everything that came after felt more like an extension rather than a necessity.

KSI still played a major role in building crossover boxing into what it is today. But sometimes, even the biggest moments don’t feel complete until you look back on them. And for him, that Logan Paul win might have been the perfect place to stop.
