Max Holloway Fires Back at Conor McGregor’s Trash Talk Before UFC 329

Conor McGregor will be making his much-anticipated comeback next weekend in the main event of UFC 329. The former double champion will take on Max Holloway, and the hype surrounding the highly anticipated matchup continues to grow with every passing day.

It’s been more than five years since McGregor last stepped foot inside the UFC Octagon, leaving many fans doubtful about his potential ring rust. However, the ‘Notorious’ is pretty confident about his chances and believes he has what it takes to secure the victory.

In recent interviews, McGregor has mentioned that Holloway won’t be able to touch him and that he will win the bout with ease. Following those comments, ‘Blessed’ also shared his reaction, making it clear that he remains completely unfazed by the trash talk.

“Whatever gets him to the octagon Saturday night, keep telling yourself that. Just please show up…Im getting for a dangerous Conor McGregor and that’s the thing that excites me,” said Max Holloway via MMA Junkie.

Despite McGregor’s inactivity, Holloway isn’t taking the fight lightly at all and believes the Irishman will bring his best form. The last time McGregor was scheduled to fight, he pulled out due to a toe injury, and Holloway doesn’t want history to repeat.

Mario Bautista predicts Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway

Aside from Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway, the UFC 229 card is stacked from top to bottom. One of them is the bantamweight clash between Mario Bautista and Cory Sandhagen, which has intrigued fans.

In a recent interview, Bautista was asked about his prediction for the main event and the fighter shared his honest opinion. “I think Max Holloway has just been super active, and it’s going to be the factor here. If Conor can’t get the fight done in the first 2 rounds, it plays right into Max’s hands,” said Mario Bautista via Home of Fight.

In his last bout, Max Holloway lost his BMF title against Charles Oliveira, but that hasn’t changed fans’ opinion about the Hawaiian. Ahead of the mega clash, the fighter is definitely the fan favourite to beat McGregor.
