Mike Tyson Claims He Delivered Diddy’s Letter to Donald Trump From Prison

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has claimed that he personally delivered a letter from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to US President Donald Trump, revealing another detail about his friendship with the disgraced music mogul.

Tyson made the revelation during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, where he discussed his relationship with Combs and his reaction to the rapper’s criminal conviction. The former heavyweight champion confirmed that he had followed through on a request from Combs while the latter was behind bars.

During the interview, Cohen asked Tyson whether he was surprised by the events surrounding Combs’ legal troubles. Tyson responded by questioning the extent to which authorities pursued the case, referring to the historical Mann Act, legislation introduced in 1910.

“Listen, I was surprised that they went through so many lengths to get him,” Tyson said.

“They used a 110-year-old rule to get him – that case 110 years ago, but they used it to get him. Can you imagine that?”

The boxer’s comments referred to the Mann Act, a federal law criminalizing the transportation of individuals for prostitution and certain other prohibited purposes. Combs was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges but convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Mike Tyson Confirms Delivering Diddy’s Letter to Trump

Tyson also revealed that he had spoken with Combs while the rapper was incarcerated and was asked to deliver a letter to the president.

During the interview, Cohen directly questioned Tyson about his involvement in the reported pardon request.

“And did you give a letter to the president from him?” Cohen asked.

“I did what he told me to do, yeah,” Tyson replied.

In January, Trump confirmed that he had received a letter from Combs requesting a presidential pardon. However, the president said he would not grant the request and did not disclose how the letter had reached him.

Combs is serving a 50-month prison sentence following his conviction. He has denied allegations of sexual misconduct and has sought to appeal his conviction. He also faces numerous civil lawsuits.

Trump previously discussed his relationship with Combs during an August 2025 interview with Newsmax, recalling that they had once been on friendly terms.

“I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great,” Trump said.

“[He] seemed like a nice guy,” the president continued. “I didn’t know him well, but when I ran for office he was very hostile.”

Tyson’s latest comments have drawn attention because they provide further insight into Combs’ efforts to secure clemency while behind bars. However, there is no indication that the delivery of the letter changed Trump’s position on the pardon request.
