Sean O’Malley Calls Gervonta Davis a “Little Fucker” While Eyeing Boxing Match
Sean O’Malley ranks among the UFC’s top names and is famous for his boxing skills. The fighter has made a huge fan base and is eager to branch out into professional boxing against top contenders.
Previously, O’Malley was eager to fight the current WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia in a crossover bout. Both superstars had exchanged several online insults and were very close to potentially fighting each other.
However, O’Malley lost his bantamweight title to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306, and his proposed boxing match never materialized. The defeat temporarily derailed his momentum, forcing the former champion to reassess his career.
O’Malley has since bounced back and recently expressed interest in fighting former boxing champion Gervonta Davis. “I was calling out Ryan Garcia two years ago but nah, give me Gervonta Davis, little f*cker. He’s been in jail for beating on his woman, hasn’t he,” said Sean O’Malley via Bradley Martin’s YouTube.
Gervonta Davis is currently facing legal trouble following allegations of assaulting his ex-girlfriend in Florida. A Maryland arrest warrant was reportedly active over an alleged probation violation.
However, his current jail status remains unconfirmed, while his planned Jake Paul fight was cancelled. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see whether this crossover fight can go through in the future.

Sean O’Malley talks about his potential title fight with Petr Yan
Following his title loss, Sean O’Malley has bounced back and is currently on a two-fight win streak and ranks #3 in the bantamweight rankings. The fighter is desperate to get his hands back on the title.
Recently, the champion Petr Yan defended the bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvilli in a dominant fashion. Following that, O’Malley has shared his opinion on a potential fight with the Russian.
“I do think in his little Russian head that he’s like, ‘F***, it’s a different fight.’ I’m not 5’5″. I’m not like Song or Merab… I’m 6’3″. I’m a big guy. I don’t think Petr Yan’s scared of Suga Sean O’Malley by any means, but I do think he looks at that fight and remembers the last fight. It was a close fight, it was a tough fight. I think I’m a tough stylistic matchup for Petr Yan,” said Sean O’Malley via Ariel Helwani.
However, Yan doesn’t consider O’Malley a deserving opponent and accused UFC of pushing the American. According to the champion, Song Yadong is a more suitable fight for him going forward.
