Kade Ruotolo’s MMA Rise Meets Former King Ok Rae Yoon At ONE Fight Night 50
Kade Ruotolo has never needed long to adapt. Four MMA fights into his career, the grappling phenom is unbeaten, has finished every opponent, and now faces a man who once ruled the lightweight division.
The ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion meets former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon at ONE Fight Night 50 on Prime Video on Friday, December 18. The event at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium closes ONE’s 2026 U.S. primetime calendar.
Ruotolo, 23, holds a perfect 4-0 MMA record and has earned a US$50,000 performance bonus every time he has stepped into the ring in four-ounce gloves. Counting his submission grappling run, the California native is 10-0 under the ONE banner.
His most recent outing showed there is more to his game than jiu-jitsu. He dropped Hiroyuki “Japanese Beast” Tetsuka with a perfectly timed right cross before finishing him with elbows from mount, earning the first knockout of his career.
Ok represents a very different kind of challenge. The veteran dethroned Christian “The Warrior” Lee for the ONE Lightweight MMA World Title and was named ONE’s 2021 Male MMA Fighter of the Year.
Now 17-6, the former champion is desperate to snap a two-fight skid. Few opponents could offer Ruotolo a sterner measure of how far he has come.
A welterweight MMA collision between two relentless finishers joins the card as well. Swiss standout Maurice Abevi, 27, has won three straight since a narrow loss in his promotional debut, including highlight-reel finishes of Samat Mamedov and Blake Cooper.
He faces 21-year-old Turkish powerhouse Dzhabir Dzhabrailov, who is 7-0 with every win coming inside the distance. Dzhabrailov survived a knockdown from Chase “Mannimal” Mann in the ONE Fight Night 42 main event before rallying for his fifth straight first-round finish.
The stakes stretch beyond the night itself. Lee defends his lightweight crown against Kade’s twin brother, Tye Ruotolo, at The Inner Circle 37 on November 6, and he also holds welterweight gold, so a statement win could fast-track any of these four toward a title shot.
