Andrew Tate Looking Set To Fight Jamahal Hill At UFC White House

In early July 2025, former kickboxing world champion and online personality Andrew Tate made headlines by publicly throwing his name into the mix for a proposed UFC event on the White House lawn. As part of the U.S. 250th‑anniversary celebrations, former President Donald Trump had floated the idea of staging a massive UFC card—including pro and amateur fights—on the White House grounds, drawing up to 20,000 fans.

Tate took to X (formerly Twitter) to declare bluntly: “I’ll fight. Call me @danawhite.” His message quickly went viral, garnering both ridicule and support from different corners of the MMA world. While some fans dismissed the idea, others speculated that, if it happened, Tate might pace the prelims or exhibition bouts given his background and notable infamy.

Rumored Opponent: Jamahal Hill

Recent unconfirmed reports suggest that Jamahal Hill, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion currently ranked in the top 6, might be negotiating to face Tate on the prelim card for the White House event.

Hill’s credentials speak for themselves: he held the UFC LHW title in early 2023, earned multiple performance bonuses, and returned to the Octagon in mid‑2025 headlining UFC on ABC: Hill vs. Rountree Jr. on June 21, 2025, in Baku, Azerbaijan. That fight marked Hill’s first outing since relinquishing the title post‑injury and a knockout loss to Alex Pereira in UFC 300 back in April 2024.

What if Tate vs Hill Happens?

Tate’s background: A decorated kickboxer with a controversial ethos and legal baggage, but minimal pro MMA experience.

Hill’s résumé: Former champion, elite light-heavyweight fighter, coming off recent high-profile bouts.

Although both fighters operate at roughly similar weight class (~205 lb), Hill’s sharp MMA record and elite skill set would make him a stark and likely prohibitive favorite—turning the match more into spectacle than a competitive contest.
