Chase DeMoor claims Andrew Tate offered him $350,000 in Bitcoin to take a dive in Misfits fight

When Andrew Tate exploded in popularity online, many combat sports fans hoped they would eventually see the former kickboxing champion return to competition. His original supporters believed he still had the ability to prove himself in the ring, while a new generation of viewers wanted to see if the internet personality could back up his bold claims with real fighting ability.

After years of speculation about potential opponents, Tate finally made his crossover boxing debut in late 2025 when he agreed to face Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor. The fight headlined Misfits Mania: The Fight Before Christmas on December 20 in Dubai, marking Tate’s first competitive bout in several years.

DeMoor alleges Tate tried to fix the fight

Despite the bout already taking place, controversy has continued to follow the matchup. Chase DeMoor recently claimed that Andrew Tate allegedly offered him $350,000 worth of Bitcoin to intentionally lose the fight.

According to DeMoor, the offer was made privately before the bout, with Tate supposedly attempting to guarantee a favorable outcome. The Misfits heavyweight champion stated that he rejected the proposal and instead chose to fight the contest normally.

The allegation has sparked heavy discussion among fans because the fight itself ended with DeMoor defeating Tate by majority decision after six rounds. Judges scored the contest 58–56, 58–56 and 57–57 in DeMoor’s favor, allowing him to retain the Misfits heavyweight title.

During the fight, Tate showed flashes of his kickboxing background early but struggled as the bout progressed. DeMoor used his size and physicality to wear Tate down in the later rounds, doing enough in the judges’ eyes to secure the victory.

Andrew Tate, a former four-time kickboxing world champion who built a massive following online, has not confirmed DeMoor’s claim regarding the alleged Bitcoin offer. The accusation remains unverified, but it has added another layer of intrigue to one of Misfits Boxing’s most talked-about fights.

Even months after the event, the rivalry between Tate and DeMoor continues to generate headlines. With influencer boxing often fueled by controversy and social media drama, the story surrounding their fight appears far from finished.
