‘Pick Who You Want’ – Conor McGregor Sends Bold Message After Dana White Rejects Michel Chandler Fight

Conor McGregor reacts to Dana White

Since the announcement of the much-anticipated UFC White House event, Conor McGregor has shown strong public interest in a comeback. The former lightweight champion has been away from fighting for almost four years, but is currently training hard for this event.

McGregor previously stated he would fight his old rival, Michael Chandler, at the event and confidently predicted a knockout victory. Chandler also expressed excitement about the matchup and waited for an official announcement with growing anticipation. However, Dana White denied the possibility in a recent interview, saying, “No, that was a couple years ago.”

The statement ended immediate speculation about the matchup and left the future of the proposed fight completely uncertain. The fight was originally scheduled for UFC 303, but Conor McGregor’s injury forced the promotion to cancel the highly anticipated matchup.

Nevertheless, after White’s comments, the ‘Notorious’ posted on X, expressing motivation to fight anyone the promotion decides to place before him. “Pick who ya want! The Mac sweats nothing and nobody. I’m TASTY SHOTS,” wrote McGregor via X.

One of the biggest reasons for Conor McGregor’s interest in the White House event is his close personal relationship with President Donald Trump. The Trump family recently invested $23 into McGregor’s business, strengthening their professional association. Despite uncertainty, McGregor remains motivated to deliver a grand comeback performance later this year.

Will Conor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather?

In 2017, Conor McGregor faced Floyd Mayweather in one of the biggest cross-promotion boxing bouts in history. The Irish superstar lost against the undefeated legend, yet his performance earned respect from boxing and MMA fans.

Despite the defeat, McGregor reportedly earned nearly $100 million, making the fight one of his biggest fights financially. It seems like the ‘Notorious’ is ready for a rematch and recently called out Mayweather for the White House event.

“Fun times @danawhite, @ufc! @FloydMayweather, when you are ready for that promised MMA bout, I am here. The White House is nice in the summer I heard. Just kidding Mike! Although… I could fight both the same night. Floyd MMA? EASY. 10 seconds,” wrote Conor McGregor via X.

With Dana White entering boxing through TKO, this long-discussed collaboration now appears more realistic than ever before. Nevertheless, after UFC 324, fans are expecting major updates regarding plans for the highly anticipated White House event.
