McGregor previously stated he would fight his old rival, Michael Chandler, at the event and confidently predicted a knockout victory. One of the biggest reasons for Conor McGregor’s interest in the White House event is his close personal relationship with President Donald Trump. The Trump family recently invested $23 into McGregor’s business, strengthening their professional association. Despite uncertainty, McGregor remains motivated to deliver a grand comeback performance later this year.
