Andrew Tate calls Jake Paul fight the biggest of his career

Andrew Tate is preparing for his official boxing comeback under Misfits Boxing, the influencer-driven promotion that has recently made him its CEO. Tate is scheduled to face American heavyweight Chase DeMoor on 20 December 2025 in Dubai, marking his return to professional combat sports after several years away from competition. The fight is expected to headline a major Misfits event and could be one of the most-watched bouts of the year given Tate’s popularity and controversial public image.

Before his arrest in late 2022, Tate had been in talks for a potential clash with social media star and professional boxer Jake Paul. Their initial face-off went viral, creating heavy speculation about a possible fight. However, Tate’s legal issues put those plans on hold, and both men have since taken different paths in their boxing and business careers.

Tate’s thoughts on a potential Jake Paul fight

In a recent interview, Tate reflected on his earlier interactions with Jake Paul and described a possible fight between them as the biggest he could ever take part in. “It would be quite a lot of money,” Tate said. “We faced-off and then I got thrown in jail, so there was a slight delay.”

He praised Paul as a serious opponent, dismissing the notion that he’s just a YouTuber. “Jake is a little shorter than me. Everyone talks about Jake being a YouTuber, but he’s not. He’s a boxer who trains full-time, with a lot of money. He’s a serious competitor,” Tate explained. He also mentioned that such a matchup would generate more interest and money than a fight against former UFC contender Darren Till.

The fight that could define influencer boxing

A Tate vs Jake Paul matchup would undoubtedly be one of the most talked-about fights in the influencer boxing scene. Both men are polarising figures who have built massive followings outside traditional boxing circles. Their rivalry combines entertainment, controversy, and athletic ambition, making it a potentially huge pay-per-view event.

However, the fight remains hypothetical. With Tate focused on his upcoming Misfits debut and Jake Paul continuing to pursue professional-level boxing bouts, their paths may not cross immediately. Still, Tate’s comments show he views Paul as the ultimate challenge in terms of fame, competition, and financial reward—making the prospect of their eventual meeting one of the most anticipated storylines in crossover boxing.
