Ryan Garcia Distances Himself From Donald Trump Following New Epstein File Revelations

Ryan Garcia and Donald Trump

Ryan Garcia has long been a supporter of Donald Trump, meeting the former president multiple times and praising him publicly. During the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Garcia emerged as one of the most prominent combat sports figures endorsing Trump.

He openly expressed political support through interviews and social media, aligning himself with Trump’s campaign and MAGA movement. However, the recent release of extensive Jeffrey Epstein files reignited controversy surrounding several high-profile political and business figures.

The disclosures mention many public figures, including Donald Trump, but unverified references prompted the Justice Department to confirm no new charges. Following these disclosures, Garcia publicly withdrew his support for Trump, citing moral concerns and distancing himself from political associations linked to Epstein.

This is my public declaration and announcement, I’m reclining my past support for Donald Trump. Anyone that was involved in any thing to do with that island and what they were doing, I just can’t support in anyway.  Children need to be protected, everyone knew better fu** that.” Ryan Garcia via X.

The Epstein files release was mandated by federal law requiring the Justice Department to publish records related to Jeffrey Epstein. Donald Trump, who signed the law, has denied wrongdoing and has threatened legal action over alleged biased reporting or misrepresentation.

Ryan Garcia claimed the world is run by ‘satanic ped*philes’, saying he would not risk assuming Donald Trump’s innocence. While preparing for his upcoming fight against Mario Barrios, Garcia remains active online, frequently posting religious messages and publicly thanking Jesus.

Conor Benn questions Ryan Garcia’s readiness for a potential clash in 2026

Conor Benn is coming off a high-profile victory over Chris Eubank Jr and is eager to return to action quickly. Following that win, Benn has openly expressed frustration with inactivity and believes staying active is crucial for maintaining momentum.

He acknowledged Ryan Garcia as a major commercial fight but questioned his seriousness due to past antics. In a recent interview, Benn said he does not want to wait for the winner of Garcia vs. Mario Barrios.

Do you think I want to wait till for someone who’s a liability? I don’t know what Ryan’s doing. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing. He should win… but you just don’t know. Then if he does win, then what? Have I gotta wait around for him to mess around and lose his head and fall off the wagon?,” said Conor Benn via The Ariel Helwani Show.

Ryan Garcia has emerged as the betting favourite against Mario Barrios, with experts backing his speed and power advantage. Meanwhile, Conor Benn was also called out by Shakur Stevenson following his recent win over Teofimo Lopez. Fans are now closely watching how these intersecting rivalries and callouts eventually translate into confirmed fights across divisions.
