Dillian Whyte has delivered a brutal response when discussing a potential third fight against Derek Chisora, making it clear that there is still plenty of animosity between the two British heavyweight rivals.
Whyte did not hold back when addressing Chisora, taking a direct shot at his longtime rival’s age while dismissing him with an expletive-filled remark.
“Derek is a p*ick man. fu*k Derek – your man is turning 60,” Whyte said.
The comments add another chapter to one of British boxing’s most entertaining rivalries, with the possibility of a trilogy fight continuing to generate interest.
The pair have already shared two memorable encounters, with Whyte coming out victorious on both occasions. Their first meeting took place in December 2016, when Whyte secured a closely contested split-decision victory after 12 rounds.
Two years later, they renewed hostilities in another entertaining heavyweight contest. This time, Whyte left no doubt about the result, stopping Chisora with a devastating knockout in the 11th round of their December 2018 rematch.

Whyte still wants to settle the rivalry for a third time
Despite having two victories over Chisora, Whyte has previously made it clear that he would welcome another opportunity to face his old rival.
In October 2025, the pair were linked to a December 13 trilogy fight at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena. Both boxers expressed interest, but contractual disagreements prevented the contest from taking place.
Chisora insisted that the paperwork needed to be right before he agreed to the fight, while Whyte also acknowledged that several details needed to be finalised.
The proposed contest was particularly significant because Chisora had been approaching his 50th professional appearance, with the veteran heavyweight previously suggesting that it could be his final fight.
Whyte, meanwhile, has been looking to rebuild his career following a devastating first-round stoppage defeat against Moses Itauma in August 2025.
The 38-year-old has since publicly expressed his desire to return to the ring and even reiterated his interest in fighting Chisora during an interview with Sky Sports in April 2026.
With both men having plenty of history, a third encounter would offer an opportunity to finally close the chapter on their rivalry.
Whether the latest verbal exchange helps bring the fight closer or simply adds another layer to their longstanding animosity remains to be seen.
