IS NETFLIX PAYING ANTHONY JOSHUA £10 MILLION FOR HIS DOCUMENTARY?

Anthony Joshua is reportedly set to feature in a major new four-part Netflix documentary covering his life and boxing career, with the streaming giant allegedly paying a record-breaking £10 million for the project.

According to The Sun, the documentary will explore Joshua’s troubled younger years and his journey from amateur boxing to becoming one of Britain’s biggest heavyweight stars. It will also revisit some of the defining moments of his professional career.

The 2019 defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr. is expected to be one of the major chapters. Joshua suffered the first professional loss of his career against Ruiz at Madison Square Garden before bouncing back to reclaim his heavyweight titles in their rematch later that year.

Joshua’s Documentary Will Also Cover Tragic Losses

The series is also expected to explore the devastating loss of two of Joshua’s close friends and team members, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele.

Both men died in the tragic car crash in Nigeria in December 2025 that also left Joshua injured. Ghami worked with Joshua as a strength and conditioning coach, while Ayodele was a close member of his team.

The documentary is expected to provide an intimate look at both the highs and lows of Joshua’s career, including his biggest victories, defeats and personal struggles.

The four-part series is reportedly scheduled to premiere on Netflix in spring 2027, although an official release date has yet to be confirmed.
